Cylinder & Rotary brushes

Cylinder brushes, also called rotary brushes, can be manufactured with various materials, fibers and densities. Made from a strong, lightweight and balanced steel tubing or polymer tubing, cylinder brushes are commonly mounted and motorized for optimum spin speeds.

Multiple core materials and designs are available as well as split core brushes that can be mounted on a shaft without removing the shaft from machinery.

Industrial cylinder brushes are commonly used:

  • Labeling applications for canning, bottling and cartons
  • Moving and sorting pills in pharmaceutical and other packaging applications

Spiral & Twisted in wire brushes

Twisted in wire brushes customized by Carolina Brush are made to order in a full range of sizes from miniature to several inches in diameter. Twisted in wire brushes can be manufactured with features including grip handles, wire-loop handles or screw-on threaded pipe nipples depending on the application.

Spiral brushes can be customized to metal channel sizes ranging from approximately 3 inches to a little more than 7 inches. Channel materials include galvanized, stainless and aluminum with the same materials available for twisted stems. Twisted and spiral wire brushes can also be made either crimped or level to fit your specific application.


Staple-Set brushes

Staple-Set Brushes are one of the most commonly constructed brushes. They can be manufactured in almost any shapes. Staple-set brushes are made by inserting a tuft of filament into a hole that is either drilled or molded into a block and secured with a metal staple.

Staple-Set brushes are used for:

  • Transporting and supporting sheet metal on turret presses
  • Labeling cans, bottle and cartons
